DIY Paper Rainbow

Hi friends,
It'me Sofi! Today I want to teach you how to make a cute paper rainbow.

Did you know that there are so many cool facts about the rainbows? It's time to find out if you have the right answers to all of my questions in the video :)

1) What is a rainbow?
A rainbow is a multi-coloured arc that forms in the sky.

2) How is it formed?
A rainbow is formed when light shines through water, like when the sun shines through the rain. This light is bent and reflected, like a reflection in a mirror causing all the amazing colours that you see.

3) How many colours does a rainbow have?
The rainbow is made up of seven colours.

4) What colours are they?
Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet.

5) Can you touch a rainbow?
A rainbow is not an object, it is made up of light. You can't touch it.

6) Where can rainbows be seen?
Normally, they appear from the rain, but they can also be seen in mist, fog and dew

7) Does everyone see the same rainbow?
This is the most special thing about the rainbow! No two people see the same exact thing. Since it all depends on how the light is being bent and reflected back to you, everyone sees something different.

8) Where is the end of a rainbow?
There is no end to a rainbow. Even though they look like an arch to us, or an upside-down letter U, rainbows are actually full circles.
