Potato Pie


• 1 kg Potatoes

• 150 ml Milk

• 2 eggs

• 1 packet of Mozzarella cheese

• 100gr of ham or 100gr of Smoked Scamorza (for veg. version)

• ½ Grated lemon zest

• 3 spoons grated Parmigiano cheese

• 50 gr Butter

• 1 Tablespoon breadcrumbs



1. Boil the potatoes, when cooked pour off the water

2. Mash the hot potatoes very well using a fork and adding the butter and milk


3. Then cut the mozzarella cheese and ham into small pieces (or Scamorza cheese) and add to the mashed potato

4. Get an ovenproof dish, spread with butter and add the mixture

5. Sprinkle the top with the Parmigiano cheese, breadcrumbs and lemon zest

6. Bake in the oven, at 180 for about half an hour until you have a lovely golden crust
