Lasagne with vegetarian ragù

Method: This recipe is the same as the recipe for the Lasagna with Pesto, but instead of using the pesto, during this procedure add the vegetarian ragù which is explained in another previous recipe.

If you'd prefer a meat version, you can make the Lasagne with Meat Ragù


  • 300g of chopped meat
  • 1 big shallot or 2 small ones or one sweet onion
  • 400g of tomato sauce
  • Olive oil
  • Salt


Saute thin slices of onion/shallot in a pan with olive oil.

Add the chopped meat and cook on a medium heat for around 10 minutes, stirring.

Add the tomato sauce and salt, cover and leave it on a low heat for 20 minutes.

Swap the ragù with the pesto in the lasagna with pesto recipe and your Lasagna with ragù is ready!
