Across the entire bodice, the wool is manually smocked into dense vertical ribs using traditional artisanal techniques. It is then hand-embroidered with an intricate pattern of zigzag lines, diamond lattice and small floral clusters — each stitch placed by hand by expert artisans, mothers and grandmothers across Europe. The result is a bodice rich in texture and detail, created with patience and skill that no machine could ever replicate.
The Peter Pan collar and puff sleeve edges are finished with sateen piping, bringing a refined thread of contrast that frames the face beautifully. At the back, Cashmirino signature buttons run down to a generous self-fabric bow at the waist, completing the silhouette with a timeless finish.
