Girl - Gaia Hand-Embroidered Liberty Print Dress
The Liberty print on the Gaia features rows of hand-illustrated sun faces, each one slightly different, scattered across a cornflower blue ground in shades of pink, teal, taupe and white. Along the ruffled collar and across the waist, every sun has been carefully traced by hand in embroidery thread, circle by circle, one at a time. The colour of each stitch is chosen to complement the sun beneath it, creating a subtle layer of artistry that slowly reveals itself. It is the kind of detail you might not notice immediately—and then you do, and you cannot stop looking.
The ruffled collar is cut from the same Liberty print and finished with matching hand embroidery, bringing the entire dress together as one beautifully balanced piece. Every Gaia dress is completed by skilled European artisans, preserving traditional embroidery techniques that have been passed from one generation to the next.
